So Melanie finally invited me to join her in this blog as an administrator!  It took a lot of coaxing but was finally able to convince her that I wouldn't be bad for her blog ratings.

My goal will be to provide great insight into daily things and events through wit and something short of wisdom.  Most likely touching on some religion, daily events, history, and even some political thoughts but I can't handle a lot of negative thoughts at one time.  I'll even share some exciting things that I have learned and found in hopes that you too will find them exciting and interesting.

And so we start:

Tonight (Thursday, December 27th) the MLB Network is showing a show on the umpires.  I think this is a first as most of the time we ignore that group of players in the game.  The show highlights the umpire crew during the 2012 World Series.  Tune in at 7PM CST if you find it interesting.

Here's an interesting quote from on of my favorite authors of all time, Robert Fulghrum, "If you want an interesting party sometime combine cocktails and a fresh box of crayons for everyone."  For those of you thinking about a New Year's Eve part this might be the coolest idea!
